Two Years ago this month, our oldest girl married her high school sweetheart! I’ve been reminiscing, we worked all thru 2014 making many DIY decorations, sourcing supplies, and really trying to stay on budget! We are so pleased with how it all came together!!
Here’s a little peek into their special day!! Friday evening nuptials followed with dessert reception, including a gummi candy bar, served in vintage milk glass dishes.
The Naked Cake was ordered from a vegan bakery – our son-in-law is deathly allergic to eggs, dairy, nuts – and it was so important to us that he could eat anything served at his own wedding. We think the cake was beautiful, and the guests obviously thought it was yummy – there was not one slice left!
Lots of M&B’s – painted paper mache letters, rubber stamp logo designed by our youngest girl (graphic design student, yay!), the W is for Walker!!
Handmade ‘W’ pinata – perfect for keeping well wishes to the bride and groom.
Hand filled sachets of lavender buds (from my sisters yard).
Ill leave you with our favorite decor element….
Most Awesome Handmade Marquee ‘W’!! Turned out better than we could have imagined!!
Thanks for walking down memory lane with me today – and Happiest Second Anniversary wishes to our Beth and her Guy!!
