(This is an update I shared with our church family.)
Our journey has definitely had a curve in the road. Some unexpected to us developments in Knisley health. I say unexpected to us because we have to trust and know that God already knew what was coming, He knows too, what is ahead.

Knisley was admitted into hospital Monday with a blood clot in the leg and lung, and possibly pneumonia.
He has had a consistent fever since Sunday, pain from the clots, and congestion.
We would ask prayer for the antibiotics to be able to tackle the infection/pneumonia and for the blood clots to dissolve quickly (it can take a few weeks).

He was to start round 3 of his chemo treatments on Tuesday (yesterday), but of course, being in hospital, that is now on hold.
We are disappointed and discouraged that chemo is on hold. Please pray with us for healing, for relief from discomfort. And that the Lord will hold back the cancer until Knisley can get back into treatment again.
Since this past weekend, our family has been focusing on the whole chapter of Psalm 86.
The words are comforting and challenging to us. We acknowledge our need for God and see He is ready to meet us in this place.
I’ll copy verses 1-7 below here (but would encourage you to read and think on the whole chapter too).
Ps 86:1-7
Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me:
for I am poor and needy.
Preserve my soul; for I am holy:
O thou my God,
save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
Be merciful unto me, O Lord:
for I cry unto thee daily.
Rejoice the soul of thy servant:
for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer;
and attend to the voice of my supplications.
In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee:
for thou wilt answer me.
Thank you so much for your encouragement and prayers.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
